Hoisin stir fry sauce


¼ cup hoisin sauce
2 tbs dark soy sauce
2 tbs light soy sauce
2 tsp rice vinegar
2 tbs water
½ tsp chilli sauce, or to taste


Combine the hoisin sauce, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, rice vinegar, water and chilli sauce.

For stir fry:

Cook the noodles or rice per packet instructions.

If cooking meat for stir fry, marinade in half the sauce mixture for 15 minutes.

Heat the wok and add oil, stir fry your meat and/or vegetables until cooked to your liking.

Add the reserved sauce and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes to heat through.
